The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) at ENMU is a flexible program that allows qualifying students to complete their Bachelor's degree in as little as two years. For students who have completed an Associates degree in Applied Arts and Science or have a minimum of 30 career-technical credit hours from a CHEA accredited institution, this ENMU degree program provides the opportunity to choose a secondary BAAS concentration to complete your Bachelor's. ENMU has a wide range of concentrations available with 18 degree options across 15 subject areas, all available 100% online.
Choosing an online BAAS concentration
The breadth of options available means you have a great opportunity to study the subject areas that interest you and can help develop your career. Some of the online BAAS concentrations include Criminal Justice, Business, Aviation Science, Emergency Management, and Electronics Engineering Technology, to name a few. There is also the Pre-Professional Education concentration which introduces students to the education field by providing broad exposure to a variety of educational disciplines. Like with many other BAAS concentrations, this degree can help students become more involved in community and professional activities by teaching strategies to navigate and participate in their local educational system.
Preparing to study remotely
Completing your degree online allows you to integrate your education into your existing lifestyle. ENMU's distance learning is conducted through web portals that provide the same materials, lectures, and class resources as are provided to an on-campus student. Students have all they need to begin and succeed in their online degree program. However, it is important to note that setting aside time and space to learn and master those resources can be an adjustment. It can be helpful to find a dedicated space for studying as well as timeframes that you can devote to studying without interruption.
